Suva is located in the Central Division of the group of islands. The Nausori airport, which used to transfer direct international flights to and from there, does not support that anymore, but you can get domestic flights to and from Nausori Airstrip. Suva is located about 3 hours away from the Nadi International Airport. Some prefer to take a direct flight to the Nausori Airport while others want to enjoy the ride from Nadi to Suva admiring all the culture and people along the way. You will get to view the amazing scenes early in the morning as you drive by Sigatoka and bask in the sunrise over the ocean, and get a glimpse of village life as you go over many humps along the way villagers’ safety. For those of you not planning on rushing, can jump on a bus and enjoy the slow yet comfortable ride on any of the first class, air conditioned buses. These coaches make daily trips to and from Nadi.
Coral Sun, also known as the “Tourist Bus”, makes trips to all Resorts and Hotels along the Queens Road from Suva. This gives visitors a chance to glance at what Fiji has to offer on the West Coast. The bus also stops at all towns in between. It only takes AUD$21 (FJD$39) for a trip around the biggest island; Viti Levu.

The new coach service currently providing services around Viti Levu as well is Pacific Transport. Their coach provides maximum comfort, smooth and enjoyable ride to your destination. The company has several express and local buses between Lautoka and Suva 6 days a week via Queen’s Road. It stops at the Nadi International Airport for all our international visitors coming or leaving the country. The entire ride on any one of these buses takes about 4 hours between Nadi and Suva.
Nadi to Pacific Harbour is generally AUD$10.80 per person and more if you are travelling all the way to Suva.
