O'Reilly's

O’Reilly’s is a locally Irish owned pub right in the heart of the city with clientele a group of sophisticates out for a night of partying. If you’re looking for a bit of retro mixed with hip-hop or laid-back sounds, then this is the place for you. There’s great food served right next door at Bad Dog Cafe and Shenanigans. So if you want a change of atmosphere you can literally move next door however that is highly unlikely as the ambience and atmosphere is such that O’Reilly’s rarely gives up its patrons to the competition.

If you’re a local you’re likely to run into a friend but if you’re just visiting you’ll definitely make new ones. O’Reilly’s kicks off slow every evening with pool players relaxing after a rough day at work while others start partying early. O’Reilly’s is a one stop to get together with your mates and create a patriotic ruckus during an international match on the sports channel. When the night moves on the dance floor fills up with an eclectic mix of business people, backpackers, expats and other party-goers moving to Europop, soft metal and Western music or mainly anything which keeps the crowd swaying. You can even indulge in some daring pole dancing. Dress code is semi formal, but the amount of fun cannot be gauged.
